2016 GCSE & A-Level RESULTS
There were smiles all round on GCSE Results Day as our Year 11 students achieved incredible results. Their results were significantly above national averages and were the just reward for 5 years of exceptionally hard work and fantastic progress at Erasmus Darwin Academy.

2016 Highest Achieving Students
A special mention must go to Benjamin Frondigoun and Nicola Maclean who were EDA’s highest achieving students Nearly all of their grades were A* and none of their grades were below an A!
Their individual performance is as follows:

Close on the heels of Benjamin and Nicola were the following students, who managed the enviable feat of gaining

It has been an absolute pleasure working with all of our Year 11s for the past five years and we wish them every success for the future. It is also extremely pleasing that the majority of Year 11s have chosen to continue their education in our 6th Form and we look forward to enjoying further educational success together.
Yet again, Year 13 students at Erasmus Darwin Academy achieved great examination results, which clearly exceeded national benchmarks.
The overall pass rate was 98.4% with 94.7 % of the cohort achieving A*-B grades (& equivalences) in at least one of their subjects and 62.7% of the cohort achieving A*-B grades (& equivalences) in at least two of their subjects.
Furthermore, we are really proud of the excellent progress that our Year 13 students made during their time in our 6th Form , with their rate of progress far surpassing national expectations.
A special mention must go to Cameron Fantham, EDA’s highest performing student, who achieved the following results:

We are sad to see such a fantastic group of students leave the academy, but we are extremely proud of their achievements and we are confident that they will succeed in their future studies and careers.
